A Mobile App for Your Business- Should you be Considering it?

   Every one of us or most of us have access to a mobile device, not just any mobile device but high speed devices connected to the internet. On this devices we have various apps which we make use of from our emails to social media apps and the likes. As an entrepreneur should you be considering having a mobile app created for your business? 
   Most entrepreneurs know the importance of social media marketing on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the likes. The issue now is how do you take your marketing strategies to the next level?
   I was listening to a program on the radio, TopRadio909 to be precise and this show called Digital Space was on air. They were discussing this topic and they made several valid points about why entrepreneurs should be considering this relatively new tool used in marketing and I am about to present some of them to you. What do you need to know about the advantages of using this marketing tool?

  1. Direct Unhindered Communication with yoir clients: How? When your clients have your company's app on their phones, they just tap on the app and voila! They are able to communicate with you unhindered by factors which may not be within your power to effect. They can make enquiries from you just at the tap of a screen.
  2. Visibility: It helps you to be visible to your clients at every given time. Studies have shown that the average mobile device user uses the mobile phone every day for at least 2hours. Since your clients will have your company's application on their phones, every time they visit their phone's home screen, your logo is subconsciously imprinted in their brains so it will be impossible for you to fade into obscurity. Thus you retain your customers attention somehow.
  3. Added Value to Customers: You provide value to your customers: Through your app you can make it possible for your customers to get rewards or freebies in exchange for their loyalty hence providing more value to them.
  4. Direct Marketing Strategy: You can create a direct marketing strategy. With your app, you can provide all the information you want to pass across to your customers through push notifications and the likes such that when you send a message for example about special sales, your customers receive it on their phones directly as a notification readily within the reach of their finger tips.
  5. Brand and Recognition Development: Lastly it helps you to build your brand and recognition. With your app, you can develop your brand to suit your customers, make it colourful and appealing to your customers. The more often you get your clients or customers to use your mobile application, the more often they use the services you provide or purchase the goods you are selling. This is in turn gets you more referrals, which translates into more recognition in your field and more customers. It's a win-win situation for you and your customers. They are satisfied, you get more business.
   With all these advantages listed up there the issue of paying mobile app development expenses might come up with some skeptical people (we know it's quite expensive to build one) but if you want to play with the big boys, the big players in your field, you might just need to think about it. After all, it's in the best interests of your business.
